(she/her)
Licensed Professional Counselor
As a neurodivergent therapist, I am passionate about creating a neurodiversity-affirming space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to show up as their most authentic selves. My primary goal is to help clients strengthen their self-esteem and confidence by recognizing and building upon their own capacity for growth and healing from the inside out.
I earned my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University in 2022 and am excited to join the team at Willow Tree Wellness. I bring three years of clinical experience working with adults in the New Haven community navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges, with a primary focus on anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders.
My therapeutic approach is individualized to each client’s unique needs and draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy. I look forward to partnering with clients in a collaborative and supportive environment to help them work toward their personal goals and overall well-being.
During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we will begin getting to know one another, discussing what brings them to therapy, and exploring the goals they hope to achieve. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable moving at their own pace while building trust and connection throughout the process.
