ASHLEY OLSEN, LCS
(she/her)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or struggling to move forward after a painful or traumatic experience? Do you find yourself constantly on edge, emotionally exhausted, or feeling like you’re simply surviving instead of truly living? If so, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself.
I specialize in working with adolescents (12+) and adults experiencing trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, anxiety, and depression. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and begin healing at your own pace. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build healthy coping strategies, and work toward creating a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized to your unique needs. I utilize evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy to help you process difficult experiences, strengthen resilience, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University and my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Saint Joseph. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Social Welfare at Yeshiva University, further expanding my knowledge to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone. Whether you’re looking to heal from the past, manage overwhelming emotions, or reconnect with yourself, I’m here to support you. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and hopeful about the future.
