CLAIRE WHEELER, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I believe therapy is about more than finding relief from what hurts. It can also be a way of reconnecting with yourself and the parts of life that can become difficult to see when you’re overwhelmed or stuck. My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative, with space for the array of emotions we all experience. With nearly a decade of experience in behavioral health, I specialize in supporting young adults and adults through big transitions, whether that means stepping into independence, managing school or work stress, or finding direction in relationships and life. I also work closely with individuals living with significant mental health challenges, helping them build stability, resilience, and hope.
I’m passionate about working with people who have the sense that they are ready for something more. Together, we can explore what may be getting in the way, clarify what matters to you, and turn insight into meaningful action. I believe therapy can help us not only address what is painful, but also make more room for the interests, relationships, experiences, and small moments that make us feel more like ourselves.
Music has always been an important part of my life, and I often integrate it into sessions when it feels meaningful. Music has taught me that dissonance and harmony can exist within the same piece, and I think life can be much the same. The difficult parts of our stories don’t have to disappear for us to experience connection, beauty, or joy alongside them. My hope is to help you build a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and your own.
