DR. MICHELLE WILLIAMS, LCSW

Founding Partner
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Have the people around you told you that you need therapy? Are you experiencing a life transition? Have you been wondering if you're in the right relationship or have been considering cheating? Would you like a better understanding of why you make the choices you do and increase your ability to take a different path? I work with individuals around life transitions and feelings of being stuck. I specialize in working with men around the transition to parenthood and other parenting related stressors such as infertility and miscarriage but have extensive experience with individuals of many different populations.

I have worked with a wide range of populations and have found each one fulfilling for different reasons. My primary foci have been parent/child psychotherapy, parental substance use, attachment, and pre and postnatal therapy.

My clients have told me that they appreciate my ability to make quick movement toward short-term goals while maintaining a long-term relationship that works toward continued growth. By observing all layers of a client’s life he or she is able to begin to gain a more complete understanding of self and relationships. The therapeutic relationship is one of collaboration and my direct and open approach has helped clients to tap into the deeper feelings and issues that are present in their lives.

Starting the journey of self-exploration can be a difficult one but it can be made easier when accompanied by a person who is empathetic, direct, and open-minded. If you feel that a holistic understanding of your thoughts, feelings and actions is the next step in your voyage then please consider giving me a call.
