MUI MUI HIN-MCCORMICK, LMFT
(she/her)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Coming from a community where therapy is not encouraged or understood, I am aware of the struggles one may encounter when seeking services. I bring a perspective that is compassionate, supportive and sensitive to the challenges of navigating some difficult times you may have. We will partner to focus on healing and growing.
I attained my B.A. degree from Fairfield University and my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University; and eventually pursued licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a seasoned BIPOC bilingual therapist. My experience includes private practice, outpatient clinics and residential/inpatient settings. I had opportunities to engage various diverse communities, encourage active participation in youth and adults, and advocate on multiple issues such as health equity and access. I have over 25 years of behavioral health and addiction experience, including Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging work. Additionally, I offer individual, couples and family therapy working with children and adults. I look forward to working with you to create opportunities for personal development.
